The public option would have been a remedy for this kind of BS. The corporatization of health care is not yet finished wreakage its havoc on the lives of the people in this country. I'm not sure what it will take to wake up the sheeple.

Is anyone surprised? How much longer do we let these corporate vultures feed off the carcasses of its victims?

It should have been single payer from the beginning... Would fix all the small business owners crying and whining, and would solve the health care problem completely. But Americans are too stupid to realize when they are being sold from on high.

Single Payer health insurance for everyone would absolutely cure one of the biggest ails of this economy and would have done 50000 times more for small businesses being able to hire again than a tax credit hasn't done.

    yepp

I will not be told what to buy or when to buy if by the federal government

I will not be pushed into a mandated economy

if you think this is about health care your missing the point.

    liberty will live or...

    something different will happen

Nope. I was showing the irrationality of those who cry about the bill. Truth, you are already forced into paying for things... taxes, government services, etc. This is one more. That is what you get from living in a society that shares public services.

And the only reason you are forced to buy it from a private company is because so many people whined about the public option. If we had a public option or a single payer system then it would have been EXACTLY like other public services that are paid for by our taxes.

sendlo, that is the joke: that right wingers actually think they have any choice in their health care decisions--well, unless they have unlimited cash and can pretty much buy any treatment they want whether they need it or not. There are enough ethics-challenged doctors who will provide that service. They're eager to be enslaved by a corporate structure that puts profit before care but won't stand for a system that won't follow that business model. It truly defies rational explanation.

It amazes me how willing right wingers are to let their cherished sector screw them and thank them for it. It's almost like they enjoy the reaming they get every time.
